About Me

I have an obsession with playing in clay. As a child, my siblings and I carved worlds into clay hillsides, fueling our imagination and creativity.  Then in college, I took a beginner pottery class which led to another and another resulting in everyone I knew receiving mugs and bowls for their birthday or wedding or Christmas.  However, family life, work, moving and the wonderful busy world of adulthood pulled me away from this obsession for almost 18 years.

But the love of the craft has always lingered in the back of my mind. In the past three years, with children spreading their wings and time opening up, I have addictively reconnected with creating ceramics.  I have been selling my pottery at crafts sales and in local gift shops.  It is a joy to be  using my imagination and creativity to  form functional art out of clay.
